Suspect: HUNT, CHASE (WMA, 31, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Galt resident) struck V-1 during an altercation. S-1 was detained, and a record check revealed he
was on probation. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: TZAFIR, YONATAN (WMA, 26, ARRESTED)
S-1 (North Highlands resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check of S-1 revealed
he was on probation. A probation search of S-1 led to the discovery of a controlled substance. S-1 was
arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: Elk Grove Florin Rd. / Sheldon Rd.
Suspect: BLANSON, RONALD (BMA, 49, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted during a call for service. A record check of S-1 revealed he
was on parole. A parole search of the vehicle S-1 was associated to led to the discovery of a drug
paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was in a verbal argument with V-1 that escalated when S-1 pushed V-1. S-1
was arrested and then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an emergency protective order
against S-1.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted during a call for service. A consent search of S-1’s vehicle
led to the discovery of narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation, and released

Location: 9200 block of Trenholm Dr.
Suspect: SARRA, ANTHONY (WMA, 26, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Citrus Heights resident) was the driver of a vehicle involved in a vehicle collision. S -1 fled the
scene on foot and was contacted by officers nearby. Upon contact, S-1 displayed objective signs of
impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Suspect: PALPALLATOC, DANIEL (HMA, 33, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle contacted during a call for service. Upon contact,
S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was
arrested.

 

Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
