Arrest made in Elk Grove homicide

The Elk Grove Police Department has made an arrest in the homicide that occurred early Tuesday morning. According to police, they were called to the 9100 block of W. Stockton Boulevard (parking lot near the Holiday Inn Hotel) for a report of a subject down in the parking lot. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male, lying in the parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers began life-saving measures, however, the victim succumbed to their injures on scene.

Last night around 10 pm Elk Grove Police officers with the assistance of the Sacramento Police Department arrested 22-year-old, Sacramento resident, Adan Amador for the shooting death of a 37-year-old resident David Falcon who was identified by the Sacramento County Coroners office.

Amador was booked on felony murder charges and it being held without bail.
