Location: 9600 block of La Nuez Dr
Suspect #1: NIELSEN, RYAN (WMA, 19, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: NORTHRUP, RUSSELL (WMA, 21, ARRESTED)
S-1 (N Highlands resident) and S-2 (Elk Grove resident) were in a verbal argument with V-1 that
escalated when S-1 and S-2 attempted to take V-1’s property by force. S-1 presented a firearm from
his waistband to V-1 and made threats to harm V-1. V-1 fled the area and contacted the police. Upon
arrival, officers detained S-1 and S-2. A consent search of the residence led to the discovery of an
unregistered firearm and two high-capacity magazines. S-1 and S-2 were both arrested and then
transported to the main jail.
