Location: 9500 block of Emerald Park Dr
Suspect: KEYS, JAMES (BMA, 43, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were in a verbal argument that escalated when S-1 punched V-1
causing visible injury. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Suspect: GRIFFITH, RODNEY (BMA, 29, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record
check revealed S-1 had warrants out for his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main
jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) pushed V-1. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: Elk Grove Florin Rd / Silverberry Av
Suspect: BLINDMAN, BURNELL (HMA, 48, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Hayward resident) was the driver of a reported stolen vehicle. S-1 was arrested and then
transported to the main jail.

Victim: CONFIDENTIAL
Suspect: MURPHYSHIU, BONNEE (WFA, 44, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were in a verbal argument that escalated when S-1 punched V-1
causing visible injury. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an
emergency protective order against S-1.

 

Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
