Charges: PC 664/487, 496 (A), 182 (A)(1), 466, HS 11364, WARRANT
Location: Big Horn Blvd. / Elk Grove Blvd.
Suspect #1: TRIPLETT, KEITH (WMA, 33, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: NGO, HUNG (AMA, 42, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver and S-2 (Stockton resident) was the passenger of a motor
stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 was unlicensed and had an active
warrant out for his arrest. In plain view, officers observed burglary tools in the vehicle. An inventory
search of the vehicle led to the discovery of reported stolen property and tools commonly used to steal
catalytic converters. A search incident to arrest of S-2’s person led to the discovery of narcotic
paraphernalia. Both suspects were arrested and then transported to the main jail.

Location: 6600 block of Franklin Blvd.
Suspect #1: GUILLEN, JOEL (HMA, 33, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: SAVALA, PEBBLES (HFA, 31, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the passenger and S-2 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a motor
stopped for a vehicle code violation. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation and had active
warrants out for his arrest in addition S-2 was on parole. S-2 became resisted officers attempts to take
her into custody. Officers were able to overcome S-2’s resistance. Both suspects were arrested and
then transported to the main jail.

Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
