Charges: HS 11377 (A), 11364, PC 466, 496 (A)
Location: Barcella Dr / Cordially Way
Suspect: SHERMAN, CHAD (WMA, 38, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Rocklin resident) was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. A consent search
of S-1 and S-1’s vehicle led to the discovery of narcotic paraphernalia, a controlled substance, stolen
property, and burglary tools. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation, and then released.

Suspect: TREJO, CECILIA (HFA, 43, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) made several 911 calls speaking profanity to the dispatchers. A record check
revealed S-1 had an active warrant out for her arrest. Officers contacted S-1 at her residence and
observed her making a 911 call. Officers attempted to detain S-1 who refused to comply. Officers were
able to overcome S-1’s resistance and was detained. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the
main jail.

Suspect: ROMAN, RONNIE (WMA, 32, ARRESTED)
S-1 (San Francisco resident) and V-1 were in a verbal argument that escalated when S-1 pushed and
held V-1 down on the bed preventing them from leaving. S-1 hit V-1 causing visible injury. S-1 pulled
out a knife and stabbed the bed next to V-1. A record check revealed S-1 had active warrants out for
his arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were in a verbal argument that escalated when S-1 pushed V-1 to the
ground. V-2 and V-3 are minors and were present during the altercation. S-1 took V-1’s phone when
they attempted to call the police. S-1 was arrested and then transported the main jail. V-1 was granted
an emergency protective order against S-1.

Suspect: FAN, JASON (AMA, 42, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) and V-1 were in a verbal argument that escalated when S-1 pushed V-1
several times causing visible injury. S-1 pushed V-1 on the ground and threatened bodily harm, which
V-1 feared for her life. S-1 was arrested and then transported to the main jail. V-1 was granted an
emergency protective order against S-1.

S-1 (Sacramento resident) was contacted during a call for service. A consent search of S-1 led to the
discovery of a controlled substance. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation, and then released.

a metal shelf causing visible injury. S-1 was arrested and then transported the main jail. V-1 was
granted an emergency protective order against S-1.

Suspect: LUCHSINGER, AUSTIN (WMA, 32, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact,
S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. A record check revealed S-1 had prior arrest for driving
impaired, was on probation, and must drive with an ignition interlock device. S-1 was arrested.



Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
