S-1 (Elk Grove resident) hit V-1 and V-2 multiple times causing injury. S-1 was arrested and then
transported to the main jail.

Suspect: TISDALE, BRYANT (BMA, 48, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. Officers
observed S-1 unlawfully carrying a firearm in his vehicle. S-1 was arrested, issued a citation, and then
released.

Suspect: NGUYEN, TRUNG (AMA, 27, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Sacramento resident) was the driver of a vehicle involved in a collision. Upon contact, S-1
displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety test and was arrested.

Officers responded to a vehicle burglary report where S-1 (Sacramento resident) used V-1’s credit card
at a nearby business. Officers located and detained S-1. A record check revealed S-1 was on probation.
A probation search of S-1 led to the discovery of V-1’s stolen property and burglary tools. S-1 was
arrested and then transported to the main jail.

S-1 (Walnut Grove resident) and S-2 (Elk Grove resident) were contacted as occupants of a vehicle
during a call for service. Officers observed in plain view narcotic paraphernalia. S-1 and S-2 were
detained. A record check revealed S-1 had active warrants out for his arrest. A probable cause search
of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded firearm and controlled substances. S-1 and S-2 were
arrested and transported to the main jail.

Location: 8400 block of Elk grove Florin Rd
Suspect #1: SHAY, STEVEN (WMA, 36, ARRESTED)
Suspect #2: HADER, MELINDA (WFA, 31, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Rancho Cordova resident) was the driver and S-2 (Orangevale resident) was the passenger of a
vehicle in violation of a vehicle code. Officers attempted to stop a vehicle when S-1 took off at a high
rate of speed and lead officers on a pursuit. The vehicle turned into a shopping center and was located
unoccupied. Both S-1 and S-2 were located nearby and detained. A record check revealed S-2 was on
probation and had active warrants out for her arrest. An inventory search of the vehicle led to the
discovery of a loaded firearm, ammunition, magazines, firearm accessories, tactical body armor, a
controlled substance, and other items related to narcotic sales. S-1 and S-2 were arrested and both
were transported to the main jail.

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
