Location: 9400 block of Village Tree Dr
Suspect: ANDREWS, LAMOYA (BFA, 40, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was observed vandalizing V-1 and V-2’s property. S-1 was detained, and a
record check revealed she had a warrant out for her arrest. S-1 was arrested and then transported to
the main jail.

Location: Elk Grove Blvd / Franklin Blvd
Suspect: SHIRISTE, CYNTHIA (AFA, 26, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a vehicle code violation. Upon contact,
S-1 displayed objective signs of impairment. S-1 performed poorly on field sobriety test and was
arrested.

Location: Power Inn Rd / Sheldon Rd
Suspect: HICKS, JUSTIN (WMA, 43, ARRESTED)
S-1 (Elk Grove resident) was the driver of a vehicle in violation of a vehicle code. Officers attempted to
stop the vehicle when S-1 lead officers on a pursuit. S-1 came to stop and refused to comply with
officers. Officers detained S-1 and observed a stolen, loaded firearm inside the backpack he was
wearing. A record check revealed S-1 was on parole. A parole search of S-1 and S-1’s vehicle led to
the discovery of a controlled substance, narcotic paraphernalia, and burglary tools. S-1 was arrested
and then transported to the main jail.

Crime Tips Via Text Messaging through “TipSoft”

Members of the community having information regarding criminal activity can send tips via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on their cell phones, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message. Once users type in their message and press send, they will receive a confirmation text indicating that the message was received.

“Tipsoft” should not be considered a replacement for contacting the Elk Grove Police Department via telephone (916) 714-5115 (non-emergency), (916) 714-5111 / 911 (emergency) or (916) 691-0411 (anonymous tip line). Instead, “Tipsoft” should be seen as an alternative method of contacting law enforcement to provide information regarding non-urgent illegal activity, such as unsolved cases, vandalism, graffiti, theft and narcotics related issues.
