Truck driver arrested in crash that killed Elk Grove man in 2020

The truck driver responsible for the crash that took the life of 39-year-old Joel Broussard of Elk Grove on September 8, 2020, has been arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter according to a report on ABC 10.

Harsmiran Singh appeared in court on Tuesday. The CHP report said Singh was speeding in a construction zone. He was also driving over the maximum number of hours allowed by law. 11 vehicles were involved in the collision.
