Supervisor Don Nottoli Endorses Councilman Pat Hume to succeed him.

ELK GROVE — Today Sacramento County Supervisor Don Nottoli announced his endorsement of Pat Hume in the campaign to succeed him.

“Pat Hume has earned my endorsement through his effective leadership and years of service to the community,” said Nottoli. “I’m confident Pat will serve the people of District 5 with the dedication and representation they expect and deserve.”

The announcement gives Hume a huge advantage in terms of significant endorsements going into the November election, having already earned the endorsements of a majority of elected officials within District 5, including 3 of 5 Councilmembers from Elk Grove, all 5 Galt Councilmembers, 3 of 5 Rancho Cordova Councilmembers, and 3 of 5 County Supervisors – plus more than 100 local leaders and organizations in Sacramento County.

“I’m deeply honored by Don’s confidence and support,” said Hume.  “My family has been here for generations – over that time, Don Nottoli has built a legacy of honest and earnest representation while treating everyone with dignity and respect.  Those are big shoes to fill, but I will work every day to honor his legacy and stand for the people and communities he has so ably represented all these years,” Hume concluded.

Pat Hume was elected to the Elk Grove City Council in 2006, and overwhelmingly re-elected three times, most recently in 2018 when he earned nearly 60% of the vote.  District 5 includes the cities of Elk Grove, Galt, Isleton, and Rancho Cordova, and the unincorporated communities of Rosemont, Wilton, and the Delta.
