Roseville Police arrest man suspected of assaulting women in the Sacramento area

The Roseville Police Department announced on its Facebook page that they have arrested a man they believe may have assaulted women in the Sacramento area. They are asking for any victims to contact their local law enforcement agency.

On September 1st, investigators from the Roseville Police Department, along with our partners from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, served a search warrant in the 300 block of Washington Boulevard.

As a result, investigators arrested 35 year old Richard King for an outstanding robbery warrant. Investigators suspect King is responsible for series of violent attacks against women that occur during pre-arranged sexual encounters.

Investigators also believe there may be additional females in the Sacramento area that have been victimized by King. We encourage any potential victims to contact their local law enforcement agency and reference this case.
