Sacramento area could see rain on Sunday and Monday

The Sacramento area could see rain on Sunday and Monday according to the Sacramento Weather Service.

Rain is possible during the day on Sunday with a steady rain overnight. Monday will have light rain and thunderstorms during the day and night. Rain will taper off Tuesday morning.

Just over a week ago the area set records for high temperatures before finally cooling off last weekend. Temperatures in the 90’s return late next week
