CHP officer in critical condition after being hit by suspected DUI driver in Sacramento

A CHP officer is in critical condition after being hit by a suspected drunk driver early Sunday morning. The officer was investigating an earlier fatal collision near the intersection of Stockton Blvd and Florin Road when the suspected DUI driver struck the officer, who was outside the vehicle. The officer was taken to the hospital suffering from major injuries.
