Pedestrian killed near Sacramento International Airport
What has been a deadly week for Sacramento area pedestrians continued on Thanksgiving night when a pedestrian was struck and killed near Sacramento International Airport.
The incident occurred around 7:40 pm near Bayou Way and Metro Parkway. A partially clothed man reportedly stepped out in front of a vehicle in an area that was dark and poorly lit according to the CHP. The victim was possibly homeless.
This was the 6th fatal collision involving a pedestrian in the Sacramento area in the past week.
