The man believed to be responsible for multiple sexual assaults around Sacramento State University has been arrested in Germany according to law enforcement officials.
The assaults occurred in the summer and fall of 2022. An arrest warrant was issued in November for Nida Muhammad Nyazi, 31. Officials said he was not a student at the university.
The Sacramento Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit and the FBI were able to locate Nyazi in Germany where he was arrested and will face extradition to the United States.
