Elk Grove’s Recycling & Waste Division will host an event this Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Special Waste Collection Center (9255 Disposal Lane) offering residents a chance to trade those disposables in for a new, refillable cylinder for free.* Reusable cylinders can be refilled more than 100 times and can last for more than a decade. ![]() New Traffic Tools Debut New, larger signal heads are beginning to show up at newer Elk Grove intersections. These traffic tools are part of a Citywide Traffic Relief Project. Enhanced video detection, larger signal heads, and expanded traffic timing tools will be coming to 76 Elk Grove intersections to help reduce traffic congestion.
