Monthly Vintage Market Offers Unique Finds Check out the Americana Vintage Market this Saturday, June 10. Elk Grove’s only curated vintage and makers market features 40+ vintage and local creatives. You’ll find vintage clothing and furniture, art, home goods, bath and body products, specialty coffee, rotating food trucks, live music, and more. Open year-round, this market is held on the second Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Old Town Plaza.

Water-wise ways to care for your trees Are your trees ready for the dry summer months ahead? Despite record-breaking rain and snow showers this past winter, your trees are still at risk for heat stress. People From the Cone Zone Meet Public Works Street Maintenance Supervisor, Josh Drake. You may have seen Josh checking out road markings, traffic devices, or inspecting signs around the city. Josh produces all of the roadway signs in the City. Josh and his team recently created and replaced over 800 faded street signs in Elk Grove home developments. This was a huge project and there are more projects like this scheduled in the future. You can report concerns with street signage and other repairs on the City’s SeeClickFix mobile app. It’s free to download in both the Apple and Android app stores.

Fridays in the Grove Series Includes Fun with Fido! The City’s Fridays in the Grove event series offers a little something for everyone, even Fido! Join us on The Preserve at District56 (9701 Big Horn Blvd) next Friday, June 16 for the Wag n’ Walk from 6 to 8 p.m. Grab your furry friends and enjoy a stroll with Elk Grove friends and neighbors, including a stop at the Bone Bar! Let’s Be Safe The Cosumnes Fire Department and the Elk Grove Police Department are teaming up with other emergency responders from the region to host the 8th annual Regional Safety Day on Saturday, June 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Elk Grove Park (9950 Elk Grove-Florin Road). Bring the kids and experience safety in a fun and educational way with exhibits, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and fly-ins from local helicopter response crews.
