The Sacramento Police Department has arrested the driver of a vehicle that was carrying 11 people, including 9 children, that crashed into a tree killing 3 of the occupants.

On 6/7/2023, Detectives from the Sacramento Police Department’s Major Collision Investigations Unit obtained an arrest warrant for 28-year-old Precious Flowers of Sacramento. On 06/11/2023, Sacramento Police Department patrol officers located Flowers in the 4000 block of Stockton Boulevard where she was arrested on three counts of Vehicular Manslaughter with Gross Negligence and nine counts of Child Endangerment. Additional charges may be forthcoming as the collision remains under investigation.
She was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail. We have no further information to release at this time.
