Two pedestrians killed by alleged DUI driver in Sacramento County

Two pedestrians were killed when a driver suspected of being DUI drove off the road and struck the two people who were on the sidewalk.

The incident happened around 8:30 pm on Elkhorn Blvd in Sacramento County. The two pedestrians were a man and a woman in their 50s or 60 according to the CHP. The driver was a female in her late teens or early 20s.

The two pedestrians were declared deceased at the scene. The CHP said the driver will be booked after being medically cleared.
