Several shots are fired into the garage of a house early one morning, and just four days later, the suspect is in custody thanks to the diligent efforts of detectives.

Based on the investigation, detectives believe 25-year-old Isaiah Rosario intentionally drove to the victim’s house in the vicinity of Black Kite Drive and Silverberry Avenue around 2:45 in the morning of August 6th. After Rosario knocked on the door without an answer, he retrieved a gun from the vehicle and fired eight rounds into the garage before fleeing.

Thankfully, no one was hit or injured due to this reckless and careless act.

Surveillance footage, in addition to work by responding officers and detectives, identified Rosario as the suspect. That same day, a warrant was issued for his arrest, and detectives started actively looking for him.

On Thursday, August 10th, Rosario was located leaving an apartment in Woodland and arrested by detectives. He was booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of shooting at an occupied dwelling, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition by a prohibited person. As of now, he remains in custody and is not eligible for bail.
