What is happening in Elk Grove this week, September 11, 2023

Never Forget
Today marks the solemn anniversary of the September 11 attacks, a day that forever changed our nation and our world. On this day, we remember and honor the thousands of innocent lives lost and the countless heroes who emerged.
🕊️ We remember the bravery of our first responders who rushed into danger, sacrificing their lives to save others. 🚒🚓🚑
🙏 We remember the resilience of survivors and their families, who rebuilt their lives and their city with unwavering strength and determination.
🇺🇸 We remember that in the face of hatred and terror, our nation united as one. The spirit of unity and solidarity still shines as a beacon of hope.
As we pause to reflect, let us also renew our commitment to the values that make our country strong: freedom, diversity, and compassion. Let us stand together against hatred and violence, and work towards a world where peace and understanding prevail.
