Suspect arrested in stabbing death outside Golden One Center

Sacramento police arrested a homeless man for the stabbing death of another homeless man Tuesday night outside the Golden One Center.

The altercation happened while people were waiting in line to see a concert. According to police, the two men knew each other. The suspect was identified as 23-year-old Malik Wilson. The victim was identified as 22-year-old Laronn Derose Wilson II

On November 14, 2023, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the 400 Block of K Street for reports of a stabbing. At the scene, officers located an adult male with at least one stab wound. Officers provided medical aid on scene until relieved by the Sacramento Fire Department. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel. – Sacramento Police

On Wednesday around 5 pm police arrested Wilson near Calderwood Lane and Marconi Avenue.
