Elk Grove chiropractor sentenced for case involving sex with a minor

Elk Grove chiropractor Jeffrey Labrado was sentenced to 16 months in state prison after he pled no contest to a felony involving sex with a minor according to the Sacramento County District Attorney’s office.

The DA’s office told Elk Grove Laguna News that Labrado pled no contest to a felony charge, PC 289 (h). The California Penal Code lists PC 289 (h) as Except as provided in Section 288, any person who participates in an act of sexual penetration with another person who is under 18 years of age shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison or in a county jail for a period of not more than one year.

Labrado was sentenced on May 14, 2024.

Labrado was arrested on July 13, 2023.
