Harvest Water Construction to Begin in Elk Grove Soon
Later this summer, Harvest Water pipeline construction will begin in Elk Grove. During construction within Elk Grove city limits, portions of northbound lanes of Franklin Boulevard between Sims Road and Whitelock Parkway will be closed, and the first segment of work will take place between Sims Road and Laguna Boulevard. In order to maintain two-way traffic at all times, traffic within the work areas will be rerouted to southbound lanes on the west side of Franklin. Access to residences and businesses within the work areas will be maintained, and safety measures will be added for pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers. Please plan for additional travel time and consider using alternative routes. For full project details, including construction timing and locations, visit SacHarvestWater.org.
