A Vision for the Future of Elk Grove Park
The Draft Elk Grove Park Master Plan is now available for community review. Developed through more than a year of planning and community input, the Master Plan provides a long-term vision for future improvements while preserving the character and qualities that make Elk Grove Park such a special place for the community.
Community members are invited to review the draft plan and share their feedback by August 24. Visit the project website to learn more and take the survey.

New rules for bicycles, e-bikes, and electric scooters may be on the way
The goal is simple — improve safety for everyone using our sidewalks, bike lanes, streets, and trails. A proposed ordinance will be considered by the City Council at its August 12 meeting.
While education will remain the priority, the ordinance also provides officers with additional enforcement tools for riders who repeatedly operate in a dangerous or unlawful manner, particularly when those actions place others at risk.
Whether you’re commuting to work, riding to school, or enjoying one of Elk Grove’s many trails, understanding the rules related to these vehicles and how they can be used is important. Learn more.
