Sheldon Wine shop prides itself on providing high quality wines. In fact, 90% of the wines we carry are 90 points or higher, we believe quality is paramount to everything we do. The shop is family owned and operated and is located in a 14,000 square foot complex that also houses a McDonalds, Subway, AM/PM, and Big Kahuna Yogurt & Juicery known as Sheldon Centre complex.
The owner of the shop Gil Moore grew up in the vineyards of Lodi taking care of grape vines and learning the trade of wine making. He worked in wineries during his college years to help him earn his master’s in public administration. When he couldn’t find a job after college he decided to move his family to Tahoe where he could sell wine. Throughout the next 30 years of his career he was able to build and continues to run a very profitable and growing business with his family by his side. With his vast experience and refined pallet of the industry’s best wines he decided to open Sheldon Wine shop.
The Wine shop takes a different approach than most standard wine retailer’s, by allowing their customers the ability to taste and critique wines during their wine tasting events that take place every week, Tuesday through Saturday from 3:30pm to 8:30pm. Their high-end wines such as Rombauer Chardonnay, Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon, Caymus, Jordan, and other wines around the country are often sampled during these tastings.
Aside from offering wine tasting and wines with 90 plus points they now offer an online retail site where customers can purchase products from anywhere within the United States and ship to all approved US states. For the wine enthusiast looking to take advantage of our high collection of wines from a variety of regions we have a Wine Club that is available. The Club offers three different price points that all ship quarterly.
We look forward to having you be a part of our wine family!!

Tilted Mash started off with two great friends who love everything and anything about craft beer. We started brewing in Derrick’s garage, and would brew almost every weekend. Whenever there was a family event, a sporting event, or random get together, friends and family would request our latest batches of brews. Bringing everything from hand-capped bottles to party pigs to corny kegs, lots of positive reactions led to more and more requests. We loved every part of it and wanted to share our carefully crafted beer with more people. The constant weekend brewing led to a lot of wear and tear to our 3 tier homemade brewing system. So much wear that our very own keg style mash tun started tilting on its side.
This is how Tilted Mash was born.
ABOUT OUR TEAM TILTED MASH:
Like many of the pioneers in the craft brewing industry, Derrick, Jonathan, Kyle and Kaydee excelled in other professional pursuits that have proven to be a major asset in creating and developing Tilted Mash Brewing.
With a BA in Business Finance, Derrick also spends a lot of time working at Allied Printing Company, a small commercial print shop located in Downtown Sacramento. He has over 20 years of management experience spanning small, service based organizations to multi-million dollar corporations. An avid home brewer and beer lover, Derrick has continued his education in the professional brewing curriculum at UC Davis and Siebel Institute in Chicago. He is also old, grumpy, bald, white and has a beard…you have to have one of those to be in Craft Beer, right?
With a BA Degree in Computer Science, Jonathan is currently a professional in real estate finance, and has been a realtor for 12 years. His background knowledge and extreme sales skills has been valuable to Tilted Mash. As an up and coming home brewer for the last 5 years, Jonathan continues his education though UC Davis advanced brewing courses, and continues to learn through experience and professional brewing education. He is well known for his Title as Pimp of Foam as well as for always having a fresh fade.
Our charismatic Taproom Manager at Tilted Mash Brewing. Embracing his new role since July 2016, Kyle arrived into the Tilted Mash Family with a flashy smile and a passion for beer.
Kyle comes to Tilted Mash with a background as varied as those of its founders. In 2002, Kyle accepted a position with UPS as a heavy equipment operator, and was promoted to graveyard supervisor in eight short months. Kyle’s stay at UPS ended when he was given the opportunity to enter into the bio pharmaceutical field as an equipment and logistics specialist.
For the next decade he worked with global giants in the industry such as Genentech, Amgen and Boehringer-Ingelheim. Kyle became a jack of all trades, holding positions such as heavy equipment specialist, level 1 HazMat responder, hazardous shipment lead, international finished product shipper and warehouse manager over the course of his career.
In the Summer of 2012 , Kyle married his long time Party Buddy, and secret crush, Terryn Ormonde. Thus ending a nearly 18 year stretch of being in “the friend zone”. With his new bride in tow, Kyle then did the unthinkable. He packed up his bags and left the shipping industry all together in order to pursue another dream–BEER!
Kyle embarked on his new endeavor as a food server and beer tender at a local Sacramento beer bar. Kyle quickly expanded his knowledge base and was promoted to Beer Buyer & Manager. During this short time he also acquired his Cicerone certification as a Beer Server.
Now at Tilted Mash, Kyle is excited to combine his love of both logistics and hand crafted beer. He is still excited to be the server that greets you and pours your pint, but also looking forward to meet the TMB warehousing needs as the brewery evolves and expands; and is looking to add Assistant Brewer to his extensive resume.
Kaydee Shaw began her career path by starting her own housekeeping business while completing her Associate’s Degree with a concentration in psychology. This built her desire to work in an industry that put heart and soul into what they are passionately producing.
After breaking into the food and beverage trade, she came upon her drive to learn more about brewing. Inevitably bringing her to the Tilted Mash team! Kaydee truly enjoys developing relationships with her regular customers.
While balancing time with her daughter Dolli, she loves exploring the Sacramento Area, and spending time with family and friends. She strives to provide high-end customer service in her position as our Beer Tender. The Tilted Mash family is excited to have Kaydee represent our brewery and brand.
