You are assuming that his fever is due to his shots, and you are probably right. However, he might have something else. You really don’t know. As such, you should keep him home just in case. He’d be most contagious during the time he has a fever. Once he is fever free for 24 hours (without fever reducing meds) then he’s good to go out again. It’s better to be safe.

48% of the population is not paying taxes? Is that because they are children? I find this hard to believe. All you have to do is look at the tax schedules to see that even low income earners pay some taxes. Are you saying they are breaking the law and not paying what they owe?

Have you thought about making signs and putting them up at the local dog parks? Often folks that go there will be good dog owners and maybe you’ll find someone who is looking for a duo that already gets along and is good with cats.

We usually go every year. Last year the fair didn’t even open until noon, so there was no way to go early to avoid the heat. I hope this year they plan to open earlier so we can get there before it gets too hot.

I just read something on a website too. And it was so vague and pointless, I wondered why bother?

Perhaps they are setting the car alarm? My car chirps when I set my alarm.

I don’t think McChrystal needs to worry about how Obama is going to discredit him. I think this article pretty much did that already.

…oh, and my whole point was: Perhaps this is why the bank approved the short sale despite Artest’s high earnings – because they didn’t stand to loose any money.

The bank may not have lost much money on this short sale.

The origninal price of the home was $1,850,000. Artest put $370,000 down when he bought it (which means the original loan was for $1,480,000) He has been paying a mortgage on this home for the last four years. It’s a jumbo loan, so he likely paid at least $500,000 in mortgage payments (maybe more if his loan was financed for 15 years instead of 30).

Now the home has sold for $1,000,000, which gets paid to the bank. As such, the bank is collecting approximately $1,500,000 total for this home, and they put out $1,480,000. This is essentially breaking even. Artest, on the other hand has now lost his original investment of $370,000.

Carly bugs the heck out of me with her smugness. She sent a lot of jobs overseas in order to make profit for the companies she ran. That tells me she is likely NOT a good public servant.

I think the fine is only $20, but all the added fees will bring the total to close to $150.

Yeah, I remember some pretty skimpy stuff. Do you remember, “Daisy Dukes?” I think they originated in 1979. Definitely fourteen year old girls wore those. I never wore them, but I remember plenty of people that did. But I did wear those nylon short shorts that were two toned. Remember those? They were pretty short, but I think they were more of an 80’s thing.

Perhaps I have just not yet witnessed shorts with a shortness magnitude to which you are referring.

Of course, throughout history the adults always thought the youth was morally corrupt with all their wild ways and attire. People were actually aghast that the Beatles had long hair! By today’s standards, it was short.

I’m not too worried about the clothes, but don’t get me started about the dancing! Have you seen the way kids dance nowadays? They might as well install polls in all the high school gyms so they can get their groove on. They all dance like strippers! Oh wait, now I’m starting to sound like the Dad from the movie, Footloose.

No different than the “short shorts” of the 70’s.

In fact the reason why these itty bitty shorts have come back into fashion is likely because the mothers of today’s teens wore short shorts in 1979.

Am I the only one old enough to remember them?
